OUTREACH

Personal communications works to promote responsible used oil and antifreeze materials recycling. Summer Ambassador programs in the four western Canadian UOMAs along with trade show attendance in New Brunswick and PEI meet potential recyclers where they live. More detail is available in the annual reports.

WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA

The national website, www.usedoilrecycling.com is the main portal through which visitors can click to get to a specific provincial UOMA. Current information for the public and businesses is accessed through both the national and individual provincial sites.

Use of different social media platforms is growing slowly but will develop over time as the need arises.

NUOMAAC

The acronym stands for the National Used Oil Material and Antifreeze Advisory Council. Comprised of the seven provincial UOMAs, NUOMAAC provides seamless and enhanced services to our combined 504 members located across Canada.
