Alberta Recycling Management Authority

Need info?

The Alberta Recycling Management Authority (ARMA) acts on behalf of the province to oversee end-of-life processing of tires, electronics, paint and used oil materials.

Their industry is rooted in the principle of circular economy where resources and products are kept in use for as long as possible, and regenerated into new products and materials at the end of their earlier life cycle.

For a full list of materials accepted in this province, please visit the association’s website.

Making Recycling More Convenient

Municipalities and Indigenous communities are committed to this program and have demonstrated this by registering an additional 40 recycling sites this past year, bringing the total thus far to 218 used oil materials recycling depots registered with ARMA.
