Dear Member,
Across Canada, we understand that recent events have caused disruptions to many businesses and may impact accounting, reporting, and administrative capacity across the supply chain.
To date, waste management activities have been considered essential services and we continue to operate your recycling programs to the best of our abilities. Many Used Oil Management Associations (UOMAs) have adjusted staffing and logistics to enable remote working, are developing interim measures and are developing contingencies should recent disruptions continue. In addition, we are working with generators, collectors and processors to enable them to continue their businesses within the appropriate government guidelines.
Considering the unprecedented situation, we would like to assure our Members that they can remit and report on the Environmental Handling Fees collected on your sales as soon as administratively possible. If you expect delays or other issues with your regular reporting, please contact EHC One-Window Support (ehcsupport@usedoilrecycling.ca) or your local UOMA at your earliest convenience and we will do our best to accommodate.
We hope for the best for you and your business once things have returned to normal.
Thank you,
UOMAs of Canada
