Interchange Recycling (formerly the BC Used Oil Management Association) is a not-for-profit group dedicated to the collection and recycling of lubricating oil, oil filters, oil containers, antifreeze and antifreeze containers in British Columbia.
The Yukon EPR Regulation requires the Producers (Stewards) of lubricating oil, antifreeze, oil filters diesel exhaust fluid and automotive containers to develop an EPR plan and implement a program by July 1, 2025. Interchange Recycling is currently engaging with stakeholders and consulting on a Plan that will be submitted to the Yukon Government for approval in September 2024 with the program expected to launch in by July 1, 2025.
All organizations doing business in Yukon are asked to Register with Interchange Recycling Yukon by completing the Yukon Participation Agreement.
