Interchange Recycling (formerly the BC Used Oil Management Association) is a not-for-profit group dedicated to the collection and recycling of lubricating oil, oil filters, oil containers, antifreeze and antifreeze containers in British Columbia.

On January 25, 2024 the Yukon government approved the Yukon Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Regulation which requires the Producers of lubricating oil, antifreeze, oil filters, diesel exhaust fluid and automotive containers to develop a stewardship plan and implement a program by July 1, 2025.

Interchange Recycling is currently engaging with stakeholders and consulting on an Stewardship Plan on behalf of its members that will be submitted to the Yukon Government for approval in September 2024.

Please visit this consultation page for planning fees, the participation agreement for organizations doing business in Yukon, Yukon by-laws and the Yukon EPR regulation.

All organizations doing business in Yukon are asked to Register with Interchange Recycling Yukon by completing and submitting the Participation Agreement.
