Thank you to all members who took the time to participate in the November 2025 Member Survey. Your feedback provides valuable insight into how the UOMAs are performing collectively and across provinces and helps inform priorities at both the national and provincial levels.
Survey responses reflected largely positive experiences when reporting to and interacting with provincial UOMAs. Members consistently expressed appreciation for the support provided by teams, alongside thoughtful feedback on opportunities to further improve reporting systems, audit processes, and the overall ease of compliance. These insights will help inform ongoing refinements to tools and processes that support stewards.
Survey feedback also highlighted interest in greater consistency where practical, particularly to support members operating in multiple jurisdictions. While provincial recycling programs are shaped by distinct regulatory and operational considerations, the UOMAs continue to work collaboratively to explore opportunities for alignment that support efficiency and clarity where possible.
The survey also provided helpful direction on national communications. Overall, members indicated satisfaction with the clarity and timeliness of communications, while emphasizing the importance of up-to-date and consistent information across both national and provincial websites. Preferences for communication channels and content will help guide future updates, information-sharing efforts, and opportunities for deeper engagement.
Thank you again for sharing your perspectives. Your input plays an important role in shaping future conversations and collaboration with the UOMAs, strengthening program delivery, and supporting the used oil recycling system across Canada.
